Organize
your music collection
Do you have music files? Do you want to organize your audio collection
by artist name, album and songs title? Or you have MP3 player and want
to see the correct tags on a display? 1st MP3 Tag Editor can help you!
Our tag processor can edit MP3, Apple iTunes M4a, Musepack MPC, WMA,
OGG Vorbis, WavPack, FLAC, APE, WAV files; rename
a group of files and folders by tag information; generate tags by
filenames and folders path; change capitalization; create Windows Media
Player and Winamp playlists; export information to text files and MS
Excel; automatically download lyrics and album covers; delete unused
MP3-tags. If your files are without tags and filenames look like
track01.mp3, track02.mp3 etc, 1st MP3 Tag Editor can emulate
Audio CD header and import songs names from FreeDB. Another great
feature is support of Amazon services - just enter artist name and get
names of all the tracks from the selected album.
Edit
ID3 tags
You can easily view and change audio tags. Just launch the program,
select music folder and click on a file:
Enter the desired value in Title, Artist etc. field and click
"Save" button. For batch processing select files, change
the fields you need. For example, edit Comment-field and write "My music
collection" and press "Save". After a small pause all your
files will have new value in the comments.
Rename files by tag information
Often music lovers have many MP3 files in one folder. It's difficult
to find the very composition you want to listen to. 1st MP3 Tag Editor
can help you to rename files by tag information like format Track - Title.mp3
and to copy music to the folder Artist. Please select files, press
"Rename" button, choose existing format for renaming or write
your own one.
Generate tags by filenames
Sometimes MP3 files have correct filenames but the tags are empty. While
playing the song on MP3 CD Player or Multimedia Player on PC you can't
see the title of the composition. 1st MP3 Tag Editor can parse filenames
and folders paths and fill tag information! For example you have song 01-Toxic.mp3
in the folder Britney Spears\In the Zone (2003).
Just select this file, press "Generate tags" button and
enter format %A\%L (%Y)\%#-%T. You will get the correct tag
on the preview panel!
